Intercooler Kit

The SPELAB Intercooler Kit, designed as a direct fit for the 2013-2018 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 with the 6.7L Cummins engine, offers significant cooling and performance improvements over the factory intercooler. It features a stout 3.34-inch bar-and-plate core, which is 34% thicker than the stock unit and provides a 32.5% increase in core volume for enhanced cooling efficiency. Key benefits of this intercooler include lower intake air temperatures (IATs), which can improve combustion and performance while reducing Exhaust Gas Temperatures (EGTs). The reduced pressure drop across the intercooler boosts turbo efficiency, lessens turbo strain, and enhances throttle response, providing quicker turbo spool times. The DuraCore™ reinforcement technology offers outstanding resistance to heat, fuel, oil, and pressure, ensuring long-term durability. The intercooler pipe kit includes hot side and cold side pipes with a 3.5" mandrel-bent tube diameter, along with heavy-duty silicone couplers. Installation involves removing the factory intercooler and pipes, then installing the SPELAB intercooler in the factory location, securing it with original mounting points. The new aluminized carbon steel pipes are then attached, using the provided silicone couplers and T-bolt clamps.
