Intercooler Kit

The SPELAB Intercooler Kit is engineered to significantly enhance the performance and efficiency of 2013-2018 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 models equipped with the 6.7L Cummins diesel engine. This kit replaces the factory intercooler with a more robust unit featuring a heavy-duty bar-and-plate core constructed with cast aluminum end tanks, providing superior cooling capacity and durability compared to OEM tube-and-fin designs. The intercooler boasts a 3.35-inch core, which is 34% larger than the stock unit, and offers a 32.5% increase in core volume for maximum cooling efficiency and performance gains. This design helps to lower intake air temperatures (IATs) and reduce pressure drop across the intercooler, which in turn boosts turbocharger efficiency, reduces strain on the turbo, and can lower EGTs. The DuraCore™ reinforcement technology ensures outstanding resistance to heat, fuel, oil, and pressure, making it suitable for stock trucks as well as highly modified vehicles supporting increased power and boost levels. Installation is designed as a direct fit, utilizing factory mounting points and components, though professional installation is recommended. The kit includes the performance intercooler, aluminized carbon steel pipes (available in red powder coat or raw finish), silicone couplers, and constant-tension T-bolt clamps.
