The core of the Revo Intercooler boasts a 51% increase in volume over a standard cooler and a 21% increase over an OE S3 cooler, ensuring ample capacity for heat dissipation. The design prioritizes maximizing heat transfer and minimizing flow resistance, outperforming typical tube and fin alternatives. It features carefully specified fin sizing and geometry for both the ambient core side and the charge core side to optimize the balance between cooling and flow restriction. The intercooler is supplied with stronger, oil-resistant silicone hoses that are precisely matched to the intercooler connections for a smooth transition. Installation is designed as a simple replacement of the OEM part, with Revo offering a CNC machined bracket system for precision fitment and superior tolerance compared to cast mounting systems. Rigorous in-house testing using 3D printing, CAD, CFD software, and a dyno has validated the intercooler's performance.
