The SPELAB 3.5" Intercooler Charge Pipe & Intake Elbow Kit provides a critical airflow upgrade for your 3rd-Gen 5.9L Cummins engine. The factory 3-inch intercooler piping can be a bottleneck, especially when towing heavy loads, running performance tunes, or facing high boost pressures, leading to sluggish response and increased Exhaust Gas Temperatures (EGTs). This kit replaces the entire restrictive factory system with massive 3.5-inch mandrel-bent aluminum tubing for both the hot and cold sides, along with a high-flow intake elbow. This design ensures smoother, unrestricted airflow from the turbo to the intercooler and into the engine. The system utilizes high-pressure, multi-layer silicone boots and stainless steel constant-tension spring clamps that automatically adjust to temperature changes, preventing boots from blowing off under maximum boost. The kit includes the hot side pipe, cold side pipe, and intake elbow.
