Intercooler Pipe Kit

The JBR Front Mounted Intercooler Piping Kit is engineered for the 2010-2013 Mazdaspeed 3, offering a more effective solution for increased cooling capacity beyond the stock top-mount intercooler. The kit utilizes thin-walled aluminum piping to efficiently transfer hot boost air from the turbo, leveraging aluminum's high heat transfer coefficient to begin cooling the air immediately. This piping transitions to a robust, one-piece silicone hose that routes to the intercooler, significantly minimizing the number of connection points and thus reducing the risk of boost leaks. After exiting the intercooler, another thick-walled silicone hose carries the cooled air to the intake manifold. Silicone's low heat transfer coefficient helps maintain the intercooler's cooling efficiency by preventing ambient engine bay heat from penetrating the charge air. Constructed with black wrinkle-coated and polished aluminum piping, 7-layer high-strength silicone hoses, and stainless T-bolt clamps, this kit is built for durability and performance. The package includes hot and cold side piping, a BPV adapter flange with mounting hardware, and installation instructions. This piping kit requires the use of a Treadstone TR8, TR8L, or TR6 intercooler. Note that the TR8 intercooler requires a crash bar, while the TR6 intercooler requires separate mounting brackets.
