Intercooler Piping Kit

The COBB Tuning Mitsubishi Hard Pipe Kit for Evo X replaces the stock rubber intercooler hoses with seamless, mandrel-bent aluminum tubing on both the cold and hot sides. This design eliminates distortion under boost and avoids unsightly silicone hose couplings that can disrupt flow or fail. The kit increases the hot and cold pipe diameters from the stock 2.375" to 2.5", further improving airflow. The By-Pass-Valve (BPV) is integrated with a dedicated hard-pipe from the cold side of the intercooler, maintaining factory location and orientation. This ensures cool air is recirculated, preventing charge air overheating. A unique COBB logo bridge connects the BPV hard-pipe to the hot side hard-pipe. The kit is 50-state legal with CARB EO number D-660-111. Confirmed applications include various 2008-2015 Mitsubishi Evolution X models (GSR, MR, and MRT) with either manual (MT) or automatic (AT) transmissions.
