This intercooler is designed as a direct, bolt-on replacement, making installation straightforward without the need for trimming, cutting, or drilling. The system boasts a massive frontal surface area and core volume, measuring 2.25" x 22" with a core frontal area of 357.50 square inches and a volume of 804.38 cubic inches. It utilizes a highly effective bar-and-plate core design with staggered and louvered fins, meticulously determined through rigorous testing for optimal fin density and size. The end tanks are cast from 356-F aluminum and are organically shaped to promote airflow across the entire core, ensuring low turbulence and restriction for maximum flow. The system is pressure tested to prevent boost leaks that can rob power. This intercooler is recommended for all stages of performance upgrades. It is specifically designed for the B9 3.0 TFSI engine found in the 2018-2024 Audi S4, S5, and S5 Sportback models.
