The PLM Intercooler Upgrade is engineered for the 2021+ Acura TLX 2.0T (K20C4 engine) to combat heat soak and maintain consistent power output, especially under high-load conditions. Its enlarged bar-and-plate core design, constructed from aluminum with a raw finish, significantly enhances charge air cooling. This leads to improved horsepower, better engine efficiency, and increased turbocharger longevity. This kit offers a direct bolt-on installation, reusing factory mounting hardware and hoses, with no cutting or trimming required. While the manufacturer states no tune is required, it is recommended for use with an upgraded downpipe or tuning for optimal performance. The intercooler assembly is emissions-friendly and maintains factory routing and connections, making it suitable for both street and track use. Independent customer testing suggests this intercooler performs comparably to or better than competing brands that are significantly more expensive, positioning it as a high-value upgrade for the TLX platform.
