The Vortech Intercooler Upgrade is engineered to boost the performance of Ford's 3.5L EcoBoost F-150 engines from 2011-2014. By increasing charge cooling efficiency, this intercooler upgrade package allows for greater engine output while maintaining the stock boost pressure. Testing indicates potential gains of 28 HP and 32 TQ, along with a significant 30° drop in inlet temperatures, all achieved with the OEM factory tune. Constructed with a durable black powder-coated finish, this intercooler is designed as a direct front-mount replacement for the factory unit. It requires no cutting or modifications, making it an easy bolt-on upgrade. The package includes all necessary sleeves and hardware for a straightforward installation process, which typically takes between 2 to 3 hours. This intercooler upgrade is intended for off-road and competition use only and is not approved for sale in California or states requiring a California E.O. #. Installation on vehicles driven on public roads may violate U.S. laws and regulations. Customers are responsible for ensuring their modified vehicle complies with all applicable laws.
