The PRL Motorsports Intercooler Upgrade Kit is engineered to address the significant heat-soak issues inherent in the Honda Civic 1.5T engine, which can lead to detonation and power loss, especially under spirited driving or increased power outputs. This kit features a robust bar-and-plate core, capable of supporting 550+ horsepower (with reports of handling up to 600+), measuring 25.6x4x6.3 inches. For optimal fitment, removal of the lower factory intake air box damper is recommended. This upgrade is compatible with factory charge piping, or it can be paired with the PRL Motorsports Charge Pipe Upgrade Kit for enhanced performance. Notably, this intercooler DOES NOT REQUIRE TUNING, simplifying the upgrade process and maintaining engine safety. The kit is specifically designed for the 2016-2021 Honda Civic 1.5T, including Si models. The package includes the intercooler assembly with billet end tanks, air guides with stainless hardware, billet aluminum factory charge pipe adapters, and a cardboard stencil for the PRL logo. PRL Motorsports provides its Manufacturer's Warranty for this product.
