The Unitronic Intercooler Upgrade is engineered as a direct OEM replacement specifically for vehicles featuring the 2.5 TFSI EVO engine. With its core measuring 24" x 10.2" x 3.54", this intercooler boasts a 71% increase in volume over the stock unit. This substantial volume increase facilitates superior heat exchange, leading to lower intake air temperatures and more consistent power delivery, especially during repeated high-load situations. The intercooler utilizes a high-efficiency bar-and-plate design with cast aluminum end tanks and durable TIG-welded construction, finished in black for an OEM+ aesthetic. Unitronic employs 3D scanning and advanced flow development techniques to ensure precise fitment, optimized airflow, and seamless integration into the factory engine bay without requiring any cutting or modifications. It is designed as a true bolt-on replacement, utilizing factory mounting points. This intercooler is compatible with Stage 1, Stage 1+, and Stage 2 software. It is important to note that this intercooler does not fit 2025+ (8Y.5) models. An ACC Adapter for model years 2018-2021 is available as an optional add-on.
