The Unitronic Intercooler Upgrade Kit is a direct OEM replacement designed for vehicles equipped with 1.8/2.0 TSI Gen3 MQB engines, and also fits the 8Y S3. It features a massive 23.5" x 2" x 16.5" bar and plate intercooler core constructed from T5052 aluminum with T6061 cast aluminum end tanks. This kit is engineered to support up to 600HP by drastically reducing charge air temperatures and resisting heat-soak.

The intercooler core has over 60% more volume than the OEM unit, providing efficient cooling in all driving conditions. It boasts a proprietary internal fin and louver configuration and TIG welded construction for durability.

Engineered for demanding driving scenarios, this kit features a substantial 23.5" x 2" x 16.5" bar and plate intercooler core crafted from T5052 aluminum. It utilizes T6061 cast aluminum end tanks and a proprietary internal fin and louver configuration, all combined with a robust TIG welded construction. This design significantly reduces charge air temperatures, leading to cooler, denser air for the engine, and is substantially more resistant to heat-soak than the stock unit.
