The Melling IS-55H is a stock replacement engine oil pump intermediate shaft. It is made in the USA from stress-proof steel and features a standard grade type. A new oil pump shaft is recommended to complete every new oil pump installation due to potential metal fatigue, cracking, or twisting damage of the old shaft.
