Description

The Standard Motor Products AS450 is a replacement MAP sensor. This sensor accurately produces voltage or frequency as manifold pressure changes, which the computer uses to measure engine load and adjust ignition timing. It helps the PCM estimate airflow on speed-density fuel injection systems. Malfunctioning MAP sensors can lead to an intermittent check engine light, hesitation during acceleration, elevated emissions, and poor engine performance.
