It is designed as a direct replacement for the original actuator on specific Toyota Highlander models from 2001-2007. The actuator is integrated with the latch and is made of plastic with male blade terminals. It has undergone extensive quality and safety testing, including simulated crash testing and cycle testing in an actual vehicle door, to ensure reliable performance and a long-lasting repair.
