The McLeod Racing Original Street Twin clutch is a high-performance twin-disc clutch kit designed for Chevrolet vehicles from 1955-1990. Engineered to handle up to 1,200 horsepower, this clutch is perfect for street enthusiasts running power adders like nitrous, superchargers, or turbochargers, as well as big-inch naturally aspirated engines. McLeod Racing pioneered twin-disc clutch applications in 1974, recognizing the need for a clutch that could offer both streetability and extreme power-handling capabilities. Constructed with an aluminum flywheel and ceramic discs, this clutch kit is built for durability and performance. It features a 153-tooth flywheel and is designed for a 1-1/8" x 26-spline input shaft. This combination ensures efficient power transfer and reliable engagement under demanding conditions.
