Description

The Standard Ignition AS423 is a manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor designed to provide precise pressure data to your vehicle's engine control unit (ECU). This sensor accurately produces voltage or frequency as manifold pressure changes, which the computer uses to measure engine load and adjust ignition timing. A malfunctioning MAP sensor can lead to issues such as an intermittent check engine light, hesitation, elevated emissions, and poor engine performance.
