Invader Carbon Fiber Hood

The VIS Racing carbon fiber hood is an Invader-style aftermarket body panel engineered for 1988-1991 Honda Civic hatchback models. Each unit is manufactured using a two-part design, where a top layer of carbon fiber is bonded to the surface with high-grade epoxy resin and finished with a UV-protective Poly Shield coating for a high-gloss finish. A single-piece, smooth underside shell is fused to the top layer to provide increased structural rigidity. These components utilize a Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.), which uses a single-mold vacuum to produce a part that is 10-20% lighter than traditional manufacturing methods while improving durability. Each hood features hand-smoothed edges to ensure a clean finish. Installation requires the use of hood pins due to the nature of the product's design.
