The VIS Racing Invader style carbon fiber hood is a performance-oriented replacement panel designed for 1993-1996 Mazda RX7 2-door models. Constructed using a vacuum infusion process (V.I.P.), this hood is 10-20% lighter than traditional manufacturing methods while improving overall durability. The exterior features a high-gloss finish provided by a UV-protective Poly Shield polyurethane coating, while the underside shell is fused to the top layer for rigidity. Professional installation by an experienced custom body shop is strongly recommended, as this is an aftermarket product rather than an OEM replacement. To ensure proper fitment, modifications including cutting, trimming, filling, sanding, or other customization may be necessary. Test fitting is required before any paint or permanent modification is applied to the hood. Due to the intended use of this product, hood pins are required for safe operation. Please note that the actual product may vary from the provided illustrations due to ongoing product enhancements.
