The VIS Racing Invader Style hood is a carbon fiber body panel designed for the 2001-2003 Honda Civic 2-door and 4-door models. It is constructed from Grade-A carbon fiber material using a two-part design. The top layer is bonded with high-grade epoxy resin and finished with a UV-protective polyurethane coating for a high gloss.

A one-piece underside shell enhances structural integrity, and the edges are hand-smoothed for a quality finish. VIS Racing utilizes a Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.) to produce parts that are 10-20% lighter and more durable.

The VIS Racing Invader Style carbon fiber hood is engineered to enhance the appearance and performance of your 2001-2003 Honda Civic 2-door or 4-door model. Constructed from Grade-A carbon fiber material, this hood features a distinctive INVADER style. VIS Racing employs a meticulous two-part construction process. The top layer of carbon fiber is bonded with high-grade epoxy resin, then finished with an ultra-clear, UV-protective polyurethane coating, ensuring a brilliant high-gloss appearance that resists fading. The underside features a one-piece, smooth shell that is fused to the top layer, significantly enhancing the product’s structural integrity. The edges are carefully hand-smoothed to provide a superior overall finish. In 2014, VIS Racing introduced the Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.) for its carbon fiber parts. This advanced manufacturing technique uses a single-mold vacuum to produce components that are 10-20% lighter than traditional methods while simultaneously improving durability. VIS Racing is progressively transitioning its entire range of carbon parts to this V.I.P. process. All VIS Carbon Fiber Hoods and Trunks are authenticated with a VIS badge. Due to the nature of their intended use, hood pins are required for installation. These products are designated for off-road use only, unless local and state laws permit otherwise.
