The VIS Racing Invader Style carbon fiber hood is specifically engineered for the 1988, 1989, 1990, and 1991 Honda Prelude 2-door models. This hood is crafted from premium Grade-A carbon fiber, utilizing a robust two-part construction design. For superior structural integrity and a clean aesthetic, the underside is a smooth, one-piece shell fused to the top layer. The edges are meticulously hand-smoothed to ensure a refined finish. VIS Racing further optimizes its manufacturing process with the Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.), a method that uses a single-mold vacuum to create parts that are 10-20% lighter while simultaneously improving overall durability. This advanced manufacturing technique is being transitioned across their carbon fiber product line. Each VIS Carbon Fiber Hood comes with a distinct VIS badge of authenticity. Due to the nature of performance applications, hood pins are required for installation and are not included.
