Inverted Pro Street Coilover

The Yellow Speed Racing Inverted Pro Street Coilovers are engineered for the 2015-2021 Subaru WRX and STI models, offering a performance upgrade for both street driving and track use. These coilovers utilize a 55mm inverted monotube shock body, similar to their Dynamic Pro Sport line, but with enhanced strength and comfort. The inverted monotube design improves vehicle handling, comfort, and suspension strength by increasing shock fluid capacity for better heat dissipation. This design also prevents premature failure of shaft seals, while an aluminum ring seal guards against corrosion and debris. The 55mm steel shock body is zinc-plated for corrosion resistance. The Inverted Pro Street Coilovers provide 33 levels of simultaneous Rebound & Compression damping adjustment, controlled by a knob. For McPherson strut systems, the inverted monotube design reduces the impact of heat from the braking system and resists lateral stress more efficiently, decreasing unsprung weight for quicker response. For rear A-Arm suspension types, the rear damper shaft is thickened to 20mm to support more side force stress and ensure better control, also making it more resistant to damage. These coilovers are available as a lowering kit, offering a ride height range of approximately -0.4 to -2.7 inches in the front and -0.5 to -3.0 inches in the rear below stock. Alternatively, a lift kit option provides approximately +0 to +2 inches of ride height increase front and rear above stock. Customers can choose between Rubber or Pillowball with Camber Plates for the front upper mounts, and Aluminum with Hardened Rubber Bushings for the rear upper mounts. Note that pillowball upper mounts may significantly increase suspension noise; rubber mounts are recommended for NVH reduction, and noise from pillowball mounts is not a valid reason for return. Each application is test-fitted and road-tested to ensure performance and comfort. These coilovers are built to order, with an approximate lead time of 2-3 weeks for delivery.
