Inverted Pro Street Coilover, 55mm

The Yellow Speed Racing Inverted Pro Street Coilovers are engineered to enhance the performance and comfort of the 1991-1999 Mitsubishi 3000GT. These coilovers utilize an inverted monotube design, similar to their Dynamic Pro Sport line, but with a larger 55mm shock body for increased strength and improved ride quality. This design offers greater shock fluid capacity for better heat dissipation and prevents premature failure of shaft seals. The inverted dampers also feature an aluminum ring seal to resist corrosion and debris damage, ensuring a perfect seal. With 33 levels of adjustable damping (rebound and compression controlled simultaneously), users can fine-tune their suspension. For MacPherson strut applications, the inverted monotube design resists lateral stress more efficiently and reduces unsprung weight. For rear A-arm suspension types, a thickened 20mm damper shaft supports more side force stress for enhanced control and damage resistance. The 55mm steel shock bodies are zinc-plated for superior corrosion resistance. Customers can choose between rubber upper mounts for reduced NVH or pillowball upper mounts with camber plates for enhanced adjustability. Note that pillowball mounts may increase suspension noise, and Yellow Speed Racing does not offer returns due to noise when these mounts are selected. Spring rates vary by drivetrain configuration: Front Wheel Drive models feature 7k F / 6k R, while All Wheel Drive models have 8k F / 7k R. For AWD models, specific eyelet dimensions (40mm width, 22mm hole diameter) should be confirmed. All coilovers are built to order, with an estimated lead time of 2-3 weeks.
