The Yellow Speed Racing Inverted Pro Street Coilovers are engineered for the 2020-2024 Kia Forte GT (BD) with a rear multi-link suspension, offering a significant upgrade for both street driving and spirited use. These coilovers feature an inverted strut design on the front, which places the larger diameter tube lower for enhanced lateral stiffness and more direct steering response, while also reducing unsprung weight. The monotube internal design with a 52mm shock body contributes to consistent damping performance. Ride height is fully adjustable via the lower bracket, allowing for precise stance and weight distribution tuning without sacrificing suspension travel. The front includes options for rubber or pillowball upper mounts with camber plates, while the rear utilizes OEM upper mounts. The springs are constructed from high-rigidity SAE9254 steel, and a spring bearing at the top ensures smoother handling response and reduced noise. Key specifications include front spring rates of 7 Kg/mm and rear rates of 4 Kg/mm, with 1-way damping adjustment offering 16 clicks of rebound control. The system also features electroplated shock bodies for corrosion resistance.
