The all-new GENIUS1 is one of NOCO's most powerful, high-performing, energy-efficient, and compact chargers yet. It's designed to do more with one charger, handling multiple battery voltages (6V and 12V), chemistries (flooded, gel, maintenance-free, AGM), and types (starter, deep-cycle, marine, powersport, and more). This charger utilizes high-frequency switch-mode technology for efficient A/C to D/C power conversion, and its onboard microcomputer precisely controls charging to minimize power loss. The improved start-voltage sensor detects and charges dead batteries as low as 1-volt, with a Force Mode for batteries below 1-volt down to zero. It offers completely automatic, year-long charging with zero overcharge risk and an auto-memory feature. An integrated thermal sensor automatically adjusts the charging cycle based on ambient temperature (from -4°F to 104°F) to prevent under or over-charging. The GENIUS1 also automatically detects sulfation and acid stratification, repairing and reversing damage to extend battery life and improve performance. Its redesigned clamps feature needle-nose profiles for smaller terminals and detachable integrated eyelets for permanent mounting, engineered for improved clamping range, force, and conductivity.
