They are designed to produce up to 4x more spark energy than stock coils and an ultra-fast multi-spark discharge. These ignition coils are meticulously engineered in Japan and handmade in Ignition Projects' facility in California, USA, ensuring a high level of quality control. Each product is tested with an industrial-grade oscilloscope before shipping. They are a direct plugin replacement, requiring no modifications for installation. The set is backed by a one-year warranty. Important considerations for installation and performance include that all IP Coils are made to order, requiring 3-5 business days for assembly. A professional ECU tune is required to fully realize the benefits of these performance ignition coils. The product is specifically designed for the 2016~2018 BMW M3 (3.0L), 2021~2025 BMW M3 (3.0L), and 2020~2025 BMW M340i & M340i xDrive (3.0L 6 cylinder engine) models.
