The HealTech FI Tuner Pro (FIT-S01) is a sophisticated module engineered to precisely modify the fuel injection map, or air/fuel mixture, on a wide array of Suzuki motorcycle models. Unlike other aftermarket fuel management systems, this unique device interfaces directly with the motorcycle's original ECU through its expansion port. This allows for continuous, real-time adjustments to the air/fuel mixture across the full spectrum of RPM and throttle positions, optimizing performance without the need to modify or replace the factory ECU. The FI Tuner Pro utilizes a Windows-based software program for creating and storing custom maps. These maps can be loaded onto the module, which then communicates with the ECU to fine-tune the fuel delivery. A significant advantage is that the module does not permanently alter the ECU; if it's disconnected, the ECU reverts to its original state. While the ideal scenario involves using a gas analyzer and a dyno for precise map calibration, the FI Tuner Pro also comes with maps provided by Healtech Electronics. This module can also be instrumental in reducing CO emissions to meet MOT requirements, as demonstrated by its ability to lower emissions on a GSX-R1000 from 4% to 0.25% by adjusting the mixture. Installation involves bypassing the Lambda probe, setting the exhaust valve to open, and connecting the FI Tuner Pro to the throttle position sensor (TPS) wire, RPM wire (crankshaft position sensor), and the ECU's expansion port. After installation, the software is loaded onto a computer to manage the maps. The module is compatible with numerous Suzuki models, including the AN400 Burgman (2003-2006), AN650 Burgman (2003-2012), B-King (2008-2012), Boulevard series, DL1000 V-Strom (2002-2013), GSF650/1250 Bandit, GSR400/600, GSX650F/1250FA, GSX1300R Hayabusa (1999-2012), GSX-R600/750/1000, Intruder series, RM-Z250/450 (injection models), SV1000, TL1000R/S, TU250 series, VL800/1500 Intruder, VZ800/1500 Marauder, and VZR1800. It also fits the Kawasaki KLV1000 (2004-2006).
