The NGK 9807B-5617W is a Laser Iridium spark plug designed for superior ignitability and long service life. It features a fine wire iridium-tipped center electrode and a fine wire platinum-tipped ground electrode for a slow wear rate, stable idle, and improved fuel efficiency. The plug includes trivalent metal plating for anti-corrosion and anti-seizing, corrugated ribs to prevent flashover, and a pure alumina silicate ceramic insulator for strength and heat transfer.

The NGK 9807B-5617W spark plug, also known as the IZFR6K-11, is engineered for optimal performance and durability. Its fine wire iridium center electrode and fine wire platinum ground electrode ensure slow wear rates, leading to a stable idle, reduced fouling, enhanced fuel efficiency, and lower emissions. The plug's construction includes a robust pure alumina silicate ceramic insulator for superior strength and heat dissipation, complemented by a copper core for effective heat removal. Additional features include trivalent metal plating for anti-corrosion and anti-seizing properties, corrugated ribs to prevent flashover, and triple seals to prevent leakage. With a 14mm thread diameter, 1.25mm thread pitch, gasket seat type, and a 19mm (3/4") reach, this spark plug is designed for a direct replacement fit. The solid terminal type and a gap of .043" (1.1mm) are standard specifications. The center electrode is an extended projection type, measuring 0.6mm, while the ground electrode is a standard trapezoid shape. This NGK spark plug is compatible with a range of Honda and Acura vehicles, including the 2003-2007 Honda Accord, 2002-2009 Honda CR-V, 2002-2005 Honda Civic, and 2003-2011 Honda Element. It also fits select Acura models such as the 2009-2011 MDX, 2007-2008 RL, 2004-2008 TL, and 2004-2008 TSX. Marine applications for Honda BF135A and BF150A outboard engines are also listed. The expected longevity of this spark plug is approximately 100,000 miles.
