Overview

The Denso Iridium Power spark plug features a 0.4mm iridium-tipped, laser-welded, fine wire center electrode designed to reduce required voltage and improve firing performance. It has a tapered cut U-Groove ground electrode that increases ignitability and decreases quenching. Machine-rolled threads prevent seizing or cross-threading during installation and removal. The spark plug is 100% pre-fired to assure the highest quality, and its purified alumina powder insulator provides exceptional strength and thermal conductivity. A five-rib insulator prevents flashover, and a copper-glass seal bonds the center electrode and insulator for a gas-tight seal.

It features a 0.4mm iridium-tipped, laser-welded fine wire center electrode, which significantly reduces the required voltage and enhances firing efficiency. This construction, combined with the projected tip, ensures a stronger spark. The ground electrode is designed with a tapered cut U-Groove, a feature that increases ignitability while simultaneously decreasing quenching effects. The thread specifications include a 14mm thread diameter, 1.25mm thread pitch, and a 16mm (5/8") hex size, with a 25mm (1") reach and a tapered seat type. The center electrode is made of iridium, and the ground electrode is nickel, with a U-groove and taper cut shape. It is a solid terminal type and includes a resistor. For reliable installation, the spark plug features machine-rolled threads to prevent seizing or cross-threading during both installation and removal. Each plug is 100% pre-fired to guarantee the highest quality. The insulator is constructed from purified alumina powder, offering exceptional strength and thermal conductivity, while its five-rib design effectively prevents flashover. A copper-glass seal ensures a gas-tight connection between the center electrode and the insulator.
