Iridium Power Spark Plug

The Denso ITV22 Iridium Power spark plug is engineered for optimal firing performance with its advanced construction. It features a fine wire center electrode made of iridium, with a 0.4mm tip that is laser-welded for durability. This design minimizes the voltage required for ignition, leading to more efficient combustion. The spark plug's ground electrode is designed with a tapered cut U-Groove, which enhances ignitability and reduces quenching. Machine-rolled threads ensure a smooth installation and removal process, preventing seizing or cross-threading. The insulator is made from purified alumina powder, providing exceptional strength and thermal conductivity, while the five-rib design prevents flashover. A copper-glass seal firmly bonds the center electrode and insulator, creating a gas-tight seal for reliable operation. Denso Iridium Power spark plugs are 100% pre-fired to guarantee the highest quality. Each spark plug has a projected center electrode and a nickel ground electrode. The specifications include a 14mm thread diameter, 1.25mm thread pitch, a tapered seat, and a 25mm reach. The gap is set at .031" (0.8mm), and the terminal type is solid.
