Iridium Power Spark Plug

The Denso IKH24 Iridium Power spark plug is engineered for enhanced firing performance with its advanced design. It boasts a fine wire center electrode made of iridium, featuring a 0.4mm tip that requires less voltage for ignition. This design, combined with a U-Groove ground electrode that is cut in a taper, increases ignitability and reduces quenching. Constructed for durability and ease of installation, the IKH24 features machine-rolled threads to ensure smooth installation and removal without the risk of seizing or cross-threading. The insulator is made from purified alumina powder, providing exceptional strength and thermal conductivity, while its five-rib design prevents flashover. A copper-glass seal ensures a gas-tight connection between the center electrode and the insulator. This spark plug offers a longevity of approximately 30,000 miles and comes with a 12-month warranty. Specific torque specs are provided for installation: 26-30 lb. ft. for cast iron engines and 15-22 lb. ft. for aluminum engines. The spark plug has a thread diameter of 14mm, a thread pitch of 1.25mm, and a reach of 26.5mm.
