The ACDelco 41-162 Iridium Spark Plug is engineered to provide optimal ignition performance, extended service life, and improved fuel efficiency as a direct replacement for your vehicle's original components. Iridium's high melting point ensures durability and consistent performance. This ACDelco GM Original Equipment spark plug features a copper center electrode and a tapered seat. Its specifications include a gap size of 0.040 inches (1.02 mm), an insulator height of 2.07 inches (52.5 mm), and a reach of 0.689 inches (17.5 mm). The hex size is 16 MM, and it has a standard ground configuration with an M14-1.25 thread size. ACDelco Iridium spark plugs are known for reliable cold starting and smooth performance. They are a recommended replacement for various GM engines, including OE on GM LS3 engines and recommended for LS3 and LS7 crate engines (though not LSX crates). It is noted that these plugs are often manufactured by NGK and are a rebadged NGK #IZTR5B11 plug, with a pre-set gap that may require adjustment to 0.043" in some applications. Compatible with a range of vehicles including Cadillac Escalade ESV, Chevy Camaro, Corvette, Silverado 1500, Suburban, Tahoe, and Sierra 1500, Yukon XL (5.3L, 6.2L), and Sierra Yukon (4.8L, 5.3L). The design includes a small collar, which was an update recommended for all Gen 4 engines.
