The Denso 4711 IXEH20TT Iridium TT spark plug combines advanced iridium and platinum technologies with Denso’s 360-degree laser welding process for exceptional durability and a lifespan of over 100,000 miles. Its Twin-Tip (TT) technology focuses spark energy for improved acceleration and fuel economy. The spark plug's design incorporates the world's smallest 0.4mm iridium center electrode and a 0.7mm needle tip ground electrode. This configuration minimizes spark interference, maximizes ignitability, and results in enhanced power, torque, and fuel efficiency. Denso's proprietary iridium alloy provides increased durability, further extending the spark plug's life. Construction features include machine-rolled threads to prevent seizing or cross-threading during installation and removal. The purified alumina powder insulator offers high strength and thermal conductivity, while a five-rib insulator prevents flashover. A copper-glass seal ensures a gas-tight connection between the center electrode and insulator. Key specifications include a 12mm thread diameter, 1.25mm thread pitch, gasket seat type, 26.5mm reach, and a 9/16" (14mm) hex size. The solid terminal type and a gap of .039" (1.0mm) are also noted. This spark plug is also a resistor type, with a value of 5k Ohm, and has a heat range of 20. It is backed by a 12-month warranty.
