Iridium TT Spark Plug

The Denso Iridium TT spark plug (IKH20TT) is engineered to deliver superior longevity and performance, boasting a lifespan of over 100,000 miles. Its innovative Twin-Tip (TT) technology combines a fine 0.4mm iridium center electrode with a 0.7mm platinum-tipped ground electrode, both secured by Denso's 360-degree laser welding. This design minimizes spark interference and maximizes ignitability, resulting in a more concentrated spark that promotes improved acceleration and fuel efficiency. Constructed with a patented iridium alloy for maximum durability, the Iridium TT features a purified alumina powder insulator for exceptional strength and thermal conductivity, preventing flashover with its five-rib design. Machine-rolled threads ensure easy installation and removal without cross-threading or seizing. Each plug is 100% pre-fired to guarantee the highest quality. Key specifications include a 14mm thread diameter, 1.25mm thread pitch, 26.5mm reach, and a 5/8" (16mm) hex size. The spark gap is set at .039" (1.0mm), and it incorporates a 5k Ohm resistor. Recommended torque specifications are 26-30 lb. ft. for cast iron cylinder heads and 15-22 lb. ft. for aluminum.
