Iridium TT Spark Plug

The Denso 4705 IKBH20TT Iridium TT spark plug combines iridium and platinum technologies for a lifespan exceeding 100,000 miles. Its unique Twin-Tip (TT) design, featuring a 0.4mm iridium center electrode and a 0.7mm needle tip ground electrode, concentrates spark energy for improved acceleration and fuel economy. This design also maximizes ignitability by minimizing spark interference, leading to better power and torque. Constructed with a purified alumina powder insulator for strength and thermal conductivity, this spark plug also features a five-rib design to prevent flashover and a copper-glass seal for a gas-tight bond between the center electrode and insulator. Machine-rolled threads prevent seizing or cross-threading during installation and removal, and the plug is 100% pre-fired for quality assurance. Specifications include a 14mm thread diameter, 1.25mm thread pitch, gasket seat type, 26.5mm reach, and a 16mm hex size. It is a solid terminal type with a 1.0mm gap and incorporates a resistor. Torque specifications are provided for cast iron (26-30 lb. ft.) and aluminum (15-22 lb. ft.) cylinder heads.
