It addresses shortcomings of the Hemi Gen 3 platform and is suitable for hot rodders, drag racers, time attack competitors, drifters, and high-performance street use. This non-VVT block features a standard camshaft location, a 4.250 IN cylinder bore diameter, and a 9.250 IN deck height. It also includes brass press-in freeze plugs, a 0.842 IN camshaft lifter bore, standard main bearings, and steel 4-bolt main caps.

The Dart Iron Eagle Hemi Gen 3 is a non-VVT engine block engineered from the ground up to overcome the limitations of the original Hemi Gen 3 platform. Key specifications include a 9.250-inch deck height and a 4.250-inch cylinder bore diameter, accommodating significant engine builds. It features a standard camshaft location with a 0.842-inch lifter bore, standard main bearing type, and strong steel 4-bolt main caps for enhanced durability. The block is constructed from durable cast iron and includes brass press-in freeze plugs for reliable sealing. It's important to note that for Ram TRX applications, modification or an aftermarket solution will be required, as the differential bracket is not cast into this block.
