IRS Adjustable Complete Tie Rod Kit

The Maximum Motorsports MMIRSTR-2 is an IRS adjustable complete tie rod kit designed for the 1999-2004 Cobra. This kit replaces the stock rear tie-rod, which is a known weak point in the IRS system that can deform under moderate performance upgrades. The MM Tie-rod is more robust and stiffer than the stock unit, making it suitable for drag racing and open track use.

Beyond being a stronger replacement, the MM Tie-rod kit allows for bumpsteer adjustment. This is crucial for IRS-equipped Mustangs, which are sensitive to rear bumpsteer that can cause instability and asymmetrical handling. The kit offers adjustable bumpsteer at the outer tie-rod end and also allows for inner tie-rod pivot height adjustment, providing a wide range of tuning possibilities. It includes aluminum tie-rods, spherical rod-ends, adjustment spacers, and tapered studs.
