IRS Bushing Kit

The Full Tilt Boogie Racing FT 5000 Complete IRS Bushing Kit is engineered to replace all critical rubber OEM bushings within the Independent Rear Suspension (IRS) of your 1999-2004 Ford Mustang Cobra. This comprehensive kit aims to enhance the efficiency and performance of your vehicle's rear suspension. This extensive kit includes several key components to address various aspects of the IRS. It features Delrin upper control arm bushings and hardcoated inner sleeves (FT 1000), as well as Delrin lower control arm bushings with hardcoated inner sleeves and shimming washers (FT 1100). Additionally, it provides aluminum front differential supports with aluminum shimming washers to precisely set pinion angle (FT 1200), and a Delrin rear differential support that replaces the OEM rubber bushing (FT 1300). The kit also incorporates UHMW IRS subframe support sets (FT 1500) and grade 8, 9/16" bolts with nylock nuts for the front subframe mounts (FT 1600). A combination UCA and LCA bushing grease fitting kit (FT 1700) is also included to facilitate maintenance. By upgrading to Delrin and UHMW components, this kit offers a significant improvement over the stock rubber bushings, reducing deflection and improving power delivery and handling characteristics. The use of Delrin in bushings provides a more direct connection and greater stiffness, while the UHMW subframe supports contribute to the overall rigidity of the IRS assembly. This kit is specifically designed to fit the 1999, 2000 (R), 2001, 2003, and 2004 Mustang Cobra models.
