The Melling Heavy-Duty Intermediate Driveshaft IS-55E is manufactured by Melling Automotive Products, a provider of a complete line of heavy-duty oil pump intermediate driveshafts. These shafts are constructed from stress- and fatigue-proof steel, ensuring maximum strength and durability for demanding applications. This intermediate shaft is designed for use with high-volume oil pumps and features a hardened steel construction, measuring 5.96 inches in length with a 0.482-inch diameter. It also includes a steel sleeve, offering an upgrade over OEM plastic components. The IS-55E is a standard grade shaft and is manufactured in the USA, backed by a 1-year warranty.
