Threaded portion of shaft is powder coated and salt spray coated for street durability (suggest using anti seize or protective products when installing coilovers for more protection from the elements, if exposed to snow and salt). ISC Springs: Made from high quality SAE9254 steel. The ISC Triple S Upgraded Coilover Spring Kit have springs made of high tensile steel, allowing for increased spring stroke, and better performing ride by having less coils per spring when compared to a standard coilover spring. They are about 20% lighter than a standard steel coilover spring, a great upgrade for both street and track cars.
