Italian RP - IRPR070

The IRP Platinum Line pistons are of the highest quality and strongest pistons offered by Italian RP. Made in Italy, these pistons are machined from 2618/A billet featuring a "Double Bridge" design to improve structural strength while minimizing weight. A galvanic process is performed on the combustion area and first ring land for increased strength, which also reduces blow-by. DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) thick wall gudgeon pins are included. The IRP Platinum Line Toyota G16E-GTS conrods are machined from 35NCD16 forged steel, making them lightweight yet strong. The H-beam configuration contributes to lighter weight than typical I-beam designs. The conrods are "deep freeze" treated at -180 degrees Celsius to remove residual stresses and improve wear resistance, achieving 2100Mpa, 15% stronger than 300M. They are paired with ARP +625 rod bolts.
