Italian RP Platinum Line pistons are made in Italy from 2618/A billet with a "Double Bridge" design for strength and minimal weight. The combustion area and first ring land undergo a galvanic process for increased strength, which also reduces blow-by in the piston ring package. Includes DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) thick wall gudgeon pins for low friction, high hardness, and corrosion resistance. The ItalianRP Platinum Line Toyota G16E-GTS conrods are machined from 35NCD16 forged steel, offering a light yet strong H-beam design. They are "deep freeze" treated at -180 degrees Celsius to remove residual stresses, improving wear resistance to 2100Mpa (15% stronger than 300M). Paired with ARP +625 rod bolts.
