IWG75 Internal Wastegate Actuator

The Turbosmart IWG75 is a universal internal wastegate actuator designed to optimize boost response on a wide variety of factory-frame turbochargers. By increasing the effective surface area of the diaphragm and utilizing revised spring configurations, this unit improves the actuator's working ratio, allowing it to leverage force more effectively against boost and backpressure. This results in a more responsive turbo system, where peak boost is achieved earlier in the RPM range and held more consistently into higher RPM. Constructed from high-grade billet aluminum with stainless steel rods and a clevis, the IWG75 features a proprietary silicon Nomex diaphragm and a unique locking collar system. This universal component includes a 150mm long rod with 1/4" UNF threading to accommodate diverse fitments. Users may choose from optional springs ranging from 3psi to 26psi to further tailor boost characteristics. As this is a universal product, some fabrication is likely required for proper integration, including the addition of custom brackets or hardware. Furthermore, if users choose to amplify performance with higher base pressures, tuning and recalibration are likely required for safe and optimal engine operation.
