The Turbosmart IWG75 internal wastegate actuator is engineered to enhance the performance of Nissan Patrol TD42T engines. The standard actuator in these popular diesel engines can lead to an erratic boost curve, preventing the engine from achieving its full capabilities, especially when equipped with off-road gear or larger tires. This issue is particularly noticeable in the mid-range, where a significant boost drop can occur. The IWG75 is designed to rectify this problem by offering a more stable and responsive boost control. It promotes quicker boost build-up, minimizes power loss at higher RPMs, and maintains a consistent boost level across the entire rev range. This results in higher peak power and, more importantly, substantially improved mid-range power and torque, which is crucial for daily driving and off-road performance. This wastegate actuator is suitable for Nissan Patrol TD42T models from 1997 to 2006. It is important to note that this product is intended for 'Race Only' use and may not be street legal in all regions, particularly California, due to emissions regulations.
