It features a proprietary silicon Nomex diaphragm, high-grade billet aluminum construction, and stainless steel rods and clevis. This actuator offers an increased working ratio over factory equipment for improved boost response.

The Turbosmart IWG75 Series of upgraded wastegate actuators are engineered to maximize boost response for factory-frame turbochargers like the Garrett GT2860RS 'Disco Potato'. By increasing the effective diaphragm surface area and revising the internal springs, these actuators achieve a greater 'working ratio'. This translates to improved boost response throughout the RPM range, with peak boost achieved earlier and held longer. Constructed from high-grade billet aluminum with stainless steel rods and clevis, the IWG75 utilizes a proprietary silicon Nomex diaphragm and Turbosmart's unique locking collar system. This direct bolt-on fitment is available with various spring options, ranging from 3psi to 26psi, allowing for customization of boost levels. Upgrading to the IWG75 actuator, even with the same base pressure as the factory unit, can result in a broader boost and torque curve. For amplified improvements, especially with higher base pressures, tuning and recalibration are likely required. The product is supplied with the wastegate actuator, pre-fitted springs, required fasteners, a swivel hose barb, and a Turbosmart decal.
