The AP Racing J Hook Disc Pair is a direct replacement for the front OEM discs on the 09-11 R35 Nissan GT-R, designed to work with factory calipers and mounting hats. These 2-piece J Hook discs offer a significant increase in durability and longevity compared to standard OEM components. This design also provides more leading edges for improved pad bite and a more consistent transfer layer of pad material during bedding-in, leading to better performance on the road and track. The discs feature a high internal vane count, typically between 60 to 84, which increases airflow, heat transfer, and reduces disc face deflection. This superior cooling capacity results in less brake fade, reduced judder, and a longer service life, making them ideal for demanding applications such as road use, club racing, time trial, autocross, and HPDE events. The complex metallurgy is developed through over 50 years of AP Racing's experience in motorsport, including Formula 1 and NASCAR.
