The SPELAB EGR Delete Kit is engineered for 2010-2025 Dodge Ram 2500HD and 3500HD trucks equipped with the 6.7L Cummins Diesel engine. This kit addresses common issues associated with factory EGR systems, such as soot buildup, clogged valves and coolers, and elevated engine temperatures. By eliminating the recirculation of exhaust gases back into the engine, this kit enhances performance and reliability. Key features include the complete replacement of the EGR valve and EGR cooler, eliminating the need for additional parts. It also includes a coolant re-route hose and a bracket for the transmission dipstick, ensuring a comprehensive installation. The exhaust manifold plates are tapped for an EGT probe, and detailed installation instructions are provided. It also leads to lower engine coolant temperatures by removing the EGR cooler from the system and minimizes soot buildup within the engine. This results in a cleaner-running engine, optimal power maintenance, and potentially lower DPF-related repair costs. Note that the EGT sensor port differs between 2013-2018 and 2019+ models, and specific variants of the kit are available to accommodate these differences. The kit is manufactured from aluminum with a silver finish.
