K1 Race Gear's Sportsman line of Jacket and Pants fills a much-needed void in the racing industry. Most SFI-5 Jacket and Pant Race Suits are constructed from a fire retardant cotton, although highly effective against flames, the fabric is heavy in weight, therefore, not extremely flexible and hot to wear in the summer. K1's Sportsman Jackets are constructed with a lightweight Nomex outer shell and a soft knit Nomex inner lining, thereby reducing the overall weight, which in turn allows more flexibility and breathability.
