This Pace Edwards FM2051 Jackrabbit Full Metal Canister is a replacement part for existing Jack Rabbit FMT5173 and FET5173 Tonneau Covers. It features heavy-gauge extruded aluminum construction with a durable powder-coated black finish. The flush-fit design ensures easy cleaning and a sleek, streamlined appearance. It utilizes an exclusive, heavy-duty continuous tension spring (CTS) for automatic opening and retraction into the canister. The cover is lockable via the tailgate handle lock and has a full metal, powder-coated aluminum deck with interlocking silicone hinges. It can be opened and closed with a built-in pull strap and engages the latch at 12-inch intervals. The design includes an advanced low-profile, independent latch-and-lock handle system, a full-length handle, and an over-the-tailgate seal. Most applications feature a no-drill, clamp-in design for quick installation.
