JB4 B58 Gen1/Gen2 Tuner

The Burger Motorsports JB4 B58 tuner is the most advanced plug-and-play tuning system available for BMW B58 turbocharged engines, offering power gains of up to 120 horsepower and 120 lb-ft of torque at the wheels on a stock engine running pump gas. Vehicles with bolt-on upgrades, higher octane fuel, E85 mixtures, or larger turbochargers can achieve even greater gains. This system does not require an ECU flash and is fully compatible with locked ECUs. The JB4 features a plug-and-play wiring harness for quick installation and removal. It provides advanced tuning capabilities, including on-the-fly map switching, boost-by-gear control, progressive water/methanol integration, built-in data logging, and fault code reading/clearing. Unlike traditional ECU flash tuning, the JB4 can be installed as the first upgrade to experience improved turbo response, smoother power delivery, and significantly better acceleration. Included with the JB4 is the JB4PRO adapter, offering free Bluetooth connectivity to a smartphone app for iOS and Android devices. This app allows users to record and analyze vehicle and tuning data, change performance maps, and update firmware. The app features an intuitive interface and advanced log analysis tools. The JB4 B58 tuner is compatible with Gen1 and Gen2 B58 engines, specifically excluding the B58TU2 GEN3 motor. It is also CARB approved under Executive Order D-744-4 for many 2016-2018 BMW applications. The tuner includes multiple maps for different fuel types, supports E85 ethanol blends, and is not VIN locked.
